Itinerary
Day 1 - Starting: Chitwan National Park & Finishing: Chitwan National Park
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel with the assistance of our local guide who will provide you with a briefing of the next day's itinerary. Visit a local tribal village for dinner.
Day 2 - Starting: Chitwan National Park & Finishing: Chitwan National Park
After breakfast you will leave the lodge for a dugout canoe adventure on the Rapti River. This is an exciting trip with chances to view marsh mugger crocodiles and various birds that inhabit the riverbanks.
There is some flexibility at this stage of the trip, and the activities may vary depending on the time of year, and the known wildlife movements and locations.
A late afternoon safari will take you in to the forest and across grasslands to observe the varied and exciting wildlife in the park, including the great Indian rhino and spotted deer, as well as exotic bird life. Tiger sightings are rare these days, but these magnificent animals do inhabit the park.
Day 3 - Starting: Chitwan National Park & Finishing: Chitwan National Park
Start early this morning for a bird watching walk. You will be transferred to your departure point by a/c private vehicle for your onward journey.

It’s ironic that the ‘King of the Jungle’ should be so elusive, but things may be looking up for the endangered royal Bengal tiger. A 2010 survey revealed 125 adult tigers in Chitwan National Park – a marked increase on previous numbers, and good news for those hoping to catch a rare glimpse of this noble creature.
